ENCAUSTIC MIXED MEDIA 2

Using encaustic medium,  alcohol inks,oil paint stick and pastels, paper, yarn stencils, and other items. Students will learn the techniques necessary to construct two paintings.

Additional shading and coloring of encaustic panels

Supply List:

All supplies necessary to complete the project will be supplied by the studio. You are encouraged to wear clothing you don’t mind turning into art projects themselves! PLEASE BRING AN APRON 

Should you have something you might want to incorporate into your project, bring it with you. Not all materials are compatible with encaustic medium.

Your instructor, Pilar Uribe is a working artists with active studios in The Silos at Sawyer Yards. I use Encaustic as my primary medium. The class will be held in The Silos amid a hanging exhibition . Come and enjoy exploring a premier Houston art venue while stretching your creative boundaries.
